What would the musicworld be without the breakbeat and without its dynamics? A question it isn't to answer and further more a condition which is beyond any idea.

So the debut of Nukem Empire Basement isn`t imaginable without breakbeat. The basic style is 90`s Drum & Bass, excellent mixed with 2Step, Garage, Rap and Funk, always focused on the maximum of groove, flavored with a subtil roughness.

It is not a search in style, the style of one's own is celebrated here. Uptempo is on "Soulboutique" the main thing, consequently no album for easy listening. Speed for the speed's sake isn't purpose at Nukem Empire Basement. Intelligent arrangements, profounded lyrics, tricky vocals and a certain liveflavor is here what is only sequenzing at others. Expecting minimalism is the wrong approach to this album, every beat is used here. Nukem Empire Basement doesn´t behave stingy, you`ll get a great amount of music on this album.

It is clear to feel that Nukem Empire Basement keeps with this 15 tracks on “Soulboutique” the dancfloor in mind, said differently, it`s a fat and punchy thing.
